At Tamaruke a huge amount of thought, time and money has been invested into a full licensed veterinary hospital. In fact, this is the world’s only breeder with a fully licensed veterinary hospital and a private vet 24/7!

Tamaruke Vet, Dr. Chris McClelland, is a licensed New South Wales veterinarian with his own clinic in Hamilton but he is also available on call for Tamaruke 24/7.

This arrangement allows the new owner of Tamaruke to enjoy the benefits of their very own onsite private vet without the expense of employing a full-time member of staff.

At the moment the veterinary hospital is solely used by Tamaruke, however as it’s fully licensed you could also add a lucrative second income by turning it into a public veterinary surgeon.

Located in the same building as our Veterinary Hospital, these facilities are fully air-conditioned.

On ground level there are 12 birthing suites – all able to be sectioned off to create more suites if needed. This lower level also includes a photography room, a kitchen and a staff room.

There is a brand new second storey that’s recently been added to this building, effectively doubling in size the existing vet hospital and birthing facilities. This upper level is a multipurpose space that could be used for create more birthing suites or even used for doggy daycare or dog boarding.

The weaning pens were the original birthing suites, however they are now primarily used for weaning our Tamaruke pups from their Guardian mums.
