Allsail is a multi-faceted business comprised of five key revenue-generating elements, all of which feed each other.

1. Club membership

Allsail Club membership comes in three forms: Silver, Silver Plus, Gold and Platinum, all of which offer the benefit of solid repeating revenue and a year-round steady income.

The club is aimed at sailors who want to sail throughout the year, mix with like-minded people and have heaps of fun – without having to buy and maintain their own boat.

A simple monthly fee gives access to club boats, regular racing, discounts on sailing courses and charters plus, of course, club social events too, both on and off the water.

Higher tiers of membership give access to further benefits such as the ability to race on bigger boats, participate in special regattas and enjoy the benefits of non-equity yacht share sailing.

Whichever level members participate at, they are part of the growing Allsail family. It’s a win-win for everyone – affordable sailing for the club members and a pool of loyal customers always looking for more ways to go sailing provide additional revenue for Allsail.

2. Chartering

An Allsail charter caters for all sorts of outings and events. From parties and celebrations to family holidays, Allsail’s fleet of six yachts and catamarans has it covered, no matter the size of group or the time of year!

Yachts under management include a Hunter 33, a Beneteau 39 and a Bavaria 40 Sport with a Seawind 1000 and Lightwave 38 catamaran catering for bigger groups and those who enjoy ‘level’ sailing with more cover from the elements!

Plus there’s an exciting Sydney 38 available for special corporate race days or twilight race charters.

The choice of boats in Allsail’s charter fleet is definitely impressive and, now that it is the dominant operator on Pittwater, it’s no surprise that the charter aspect of Allsail is one of the most lucrative with heaps of potential for further growth.

3. Boat share / Yacht share

Allsail’s unique non-equity boat share / yacht share concept offers club members 25 days/year of private overnight use of the Beneteau Oceanis 39 for Gold members or the Bavaria 40 Sport Cruiser or Lightwave 38 catamaran for Platinum members.

This aspect of the business is attractive to potential members and sailors as it offers the boating lifestyle without the massive cost and commitment of buying a yacht or an expensive share of a boat.

It’s easy, affordable and convenient. Members can explore our magical waterways in any which way they please – the options are endless.

4. Sailing training

Allsail is an Australian Sailing Discover Sailing training centre and an International Yacht Training Worldwide (IYT) school teaching adults aged 35 – 80 the sailing ropes, whether they’re on Pittwater, Broken Bay or beyond.

Allsail’s Sailing Training Pathway combines the best of the Keelboat Crew and Helm and the International Crew and International Bareboat Skipper courses, after which experienced sailors earn an International Certificate of Competence (ICC) – their sailing passport to cruising and chartering around the world!

Regular courses run each weekend, as well as some Fridays, whereas the IYT courses are generally two-day / overnight onboard affairs.

There’s no such thing as a boring classroom with Allsail’s Sailing Training – you learn on the water! Whichever yacht you are on board, learning is always a blast.

5. Regattas, overseas holidays and other events

Allsail always has plenty of fun events on the agenda, whether they be on our waters or overseas. Parties and raft-ups are always a good time!

Regattas are a big part of Allsail, whether they take place on Australia waters or in stunning, overseas locations.

The Port Stephens Regatta, Sydney Harbour Regatta and the Bay Regatta Phuket…Allsail is always there racing hard, having fun and making new friends along the way!

And Allsail yachts are regular winners too – they have celebrated 3 big series wins, plus a second and third at the Sydney Harbour Regatta in the last 5 years. They have also had lots of series and race wins in the Monday Twilight series, inshore spinnaker series and many more – all these achieved with mixed crews of regular experienced members and trainees.

Overseas flotillas are a major highlight in the Allsailor’s calendar. Previous trips have included amazing destinations such as Turkey, Phuket, the Caribbean, Canada and many more…this year it’s Croatia and Montenegro and Tonga! For 2020 it’s Phuket and the Cyclades Islands of Greece – both of which are already scheduled and filling fast. These trips provide GST-free revenue, which is fantastic.

Allsail also heads to the Sydney International Boat Show every year. Their amazing (and very popular) on-water display of Allsail yachts is easy to spot!

The business of Allsail is rich with potential. Are you ready to take it to the next level?
